WATER

• Install Transfer Switch at Well #4
• Purchase Mobile Generator for Emergency Power

SEWER

• Sewer Rehab Project in the Northeast section of Town
• 12,925 Feet of 8-inch CIPP
• 1,641 Feet of 10-inch CIPP
• 161 Feet of 12-inch CIPP
• 2,634 Feet of 6-inch pipe being replaced with new 8-inch pipe

STREETS

Paving

• On North 7th Avenue from Albany Street to Baltimore Street
• On Detroit Street from North 6th Avenue to North 10th Avenue
• On Beverly Terrace from North 16th Avenue to the Dead End
• On Public Street from Division to South 21st Avenue
• On South 20th Avenue from Public Street to Birch Street
• On Birch Street from South 20th Avenue to South 17th Avenue

• Non-residents

  • First 350 pounds … $5.00
  • Each additional 50 pounds … $1.00

*Free drop-off for yard debris must come from Citizens of Elgin.
(Proof of Address required)

Furniture and Appliances

• Refrigerators … $30.00 (Doors must be removed prior to drop-off)
• Mattresses, Box Springs, and Chairs … $15.00 each
• Appliances… $30.00 (Stoves, dryers etc)
• Sofas…$25.00
