On April 9th, 2024 Elgin City Council unanimously passed and adopted City of Elgin, Oregon Resolution 6 (2024) A Resolution establishing the prices for the New Dump Operations. The new rates will take effect on July 1st, 2024..
- Price for First 200 Pounds of Waste (Minimum): $20.00
- Price Per Ton OVER 200 Pounds of Waste: $118.00
- Yard Debris: FREE (To citizens of Elgin, with proof of address)
- Refrigerators (Doors Removed Only): $30.00
- Mattress/Box Springs: $15.00
- Appliances (Stoves, Dryers, etc.): $30.00
- Sofas: $25.00
- Chairs: $15.00
Yard debris from non-citizens or businesses shall be charged a minimum of $5.00 for the first 350 pounds. $1.00 shall be charged for each additional 50 pounds.
