The reason is the annexation of property into the city is no longer an option or possibility, so the city will not have a stake in this matter at all. The school will still move forward with the original land lab project and 15 acres in a deal just involving the school district and the land owner. The Mayor and city council appreciate everyoneβs patience and willingness to assist with this process by offering up their comments and knowledge and are excited to see the land lab project still moving in a positive direction.
