TRANSFER STATION FEES

Waste

• First 200 pounds (minimum) … $20.00
• Per ton over 200 pounds … $118.00

Yard Debris

• Elgin residents … FREE*

• Non-residents

  • First 350 pounds … $5.00
  • Each additional 50 pounds … $1.00

*Free drop-off for yard debris must come from Citizens of Elgin.
(Proof of Address required)

Furniture and Appliances

• Refrigerators … $30.00 (Doors must be removed prior to drop-off)
• Mattresses, Box Springs, and Chairs … $15.00 each
• Appliances… $30.00 (Stoves, dryers etc)
• Sofas…$25.00
